B&H was looking for a local mobile agency that could not only act as a closely integrated extension of their NYC-based ecommerce team but also be trusted to handle the responsibility of maintaining, improving, and optimizing their highly-trafficked and award-winning mCommerce iOS & Android applications.
App Partner put together a custom proposal to deliver a turnkey dedicated iOS & Android mobile team that would provide strategic & creative guidance while also closely integrating with their in-house team. To achieve this we conduct weekly in-person status meetings at their office, adopted common processes and tools, host key employees in each other’s offices when helpful for completing projects, and hosted monthly strategy sessions to deliver strategic & creative guidance.
Over the years B&H’s mCommerce apps have processed hundreds of millions in revenue through checkout systems we designed and implemented. Our work integrating Apple Pay was one of the first and most celebrated examples in the iOS community. We’ve also added support for Android Pay, PayPal, and generic B&H checkout.
Whether it was the Apple Watch or Apple Pay we were often one of the first to successfully implement new technology. Our early implementation of Android’s Instant Apps feature was so successful it was even demonstrated by Google at their 2016 I/O Conference.
We work out of each other’s offices every day and have adopted common tools to align efforts. The result is better collaboration, accelerated innovation, and a cohesive cross-platform team that doesn’t require B&H to deal with the overhead of staffing a specialized mobile team.
